Praised as the day when the horizon of a weekend is first seen, Wednesday really brings us only half-way to the end of the week. People call it Hump day, as it’s in the middle of the workweek: when it’s finished, the only way is to roll down to Friday. In all seriousness, Wednesday still finds many at the peak of their productivity. There is enough time to do more things during the rest of the days of labor, so for many it’s an opportunity to stand and think – and possibly be inspired.
Laughing when others get motivated isn’t very thoughtful, so it’s a bit ungrateful to only joke about Wednesday. Then again, if that day wanted a career in show business, it should have changed its name to something everyone can write.
